Freed From Fear...
“I finally witnessed to my Mormon family. THANK YOU!”
Amanda, 22, has had it on her heart to witness for years. She never felt fully ready. Whenever the opportunity came, she became weak and nervous.
At the next family reunion her cousin Aaron, who just returned from serving as a Mormon missionary, asked her what she believed as a Christian. She froze and changed the subject.
Amanda left discouraged. She was determined not to let another opportunity pass by. She studied to learn more about witnessing to Mormons. Because of your gifts to help promote it, she discovered witnessinlove.org.
You helped Amanda focus on Aaron’s stress points instead of her own. You helped her trust in the power of God’s Word rather than her words. Because of you, she is looking forward to the next opportunity to witness.
At the next family reunion, she picked up the conversation with Aaron. She shared from Scripture how impossible it is to keep the commandments perfectly. She also shared the message of grace and the comfort of knowing that Jesus did it all for us.
Aaron never heard this before. He was amazed. He wanted to learn more. Amanda now texts him Bible passages. He is reading them and responding. The Spirit is working on his heart.
Amanda is also amazed. Her fear was transformed into courage. Feelings of inadequacy are now replaced with joy. She can’t wait to reach out to other Mormon family members.
Witnessinlove.org has already been transformational to people like Amanda, but we’re just scratching the surface. There are so many more Christians who have a heart to reach out, but they’re afraid. So they let witnessing opportunities pass them by. We need your help to reach them as well.
Amanda recently shared: “However fearful or inadequate someone may feel, God can still work through them!” She has seen God’s power at work. She wants many others to experience that as well.
Will you fearlessly step forward with your best gift today? Your support will help more Christians joyfully witness. Like Amanda, they will also discover, “there is no fear in love” (1 John 4:18).
